Why build bridges?
I have been speaking with village chiefs about their needs for a safe crossing; I have learned about the lack of access to school, healthcare, and jobs. I have heard their recounting of the many injuries and deaths at these dangerous crossings.
I recently received a phone call and learned that a loved one had passed away. This is a breakdown of the steps I have taken to fight stress and sorrow while I am separated from my support group half way around the world. Continue reading
